GenTech Generator Maintenance LLC provides standby generator maintenance, service, inspections and repairs throughout Southwest Florida. We help customers care for existing generators and their surrounding conditions.
Owner Nicholas “Nick” Sileo established GenTech in 2018. Backed by 20+ years of generator-technician experience, Nick holds manufacturer-specific certifications with Briggs & Stratton and Generac.
That experience shapes our approach: long-term maintenance, detailed inspections and attention to the entire generator system.

Care for Your Existing Standby Generator
GenTech maintains, inspects, diagnoses and repairs existing standby generators. We focus on ongoing care after installation; we do not install new generators.
Our twice-yearly maintenance approach combines system checks and testing with cleaning, enclosure care and attention to surrounding conditions. Each visit has a different focus, with the same goal: a well-maintained generator system.
Generator Maintenance Beyond the Engine
- GenTech services Briggs & Stratton, Generac, Kohler and Cummins standby generators. Maintenance items are handled according to the applicable generator/model requirements and service needs.
- Trip One and Trip Two use different but overlapping digital checklists. Beyond the engine, we inspect enclosure condition, corrosion, vegetation, airflow, exhaust clearance, drainage and ground conditions.
- Cleaning, corrosion prevention and attention to hinges, locks and appropriate moving components are part of caring for the complete generator system. Required clearances vary by model and installation; the manufacturer’s specifications and applicable codes guide the requirements for each system.

Nick and Beth’s older sons also work with GenTech. Xavier (left) brings technical ability and a strong work ethic and may spend time serving in the Marines. Tyler (right), also hardworking, started several successful businesses in high school and may serve in the Army. Both have been active in JROTC and continue volunteering when they can.

Nick’s wife, Beth, handles scheduling and customer support. Two of their sons are joining the company in 2026 and beginning their training in generator service.
