A separate inspection, with a clear purpose

A generator can be an important part of a property without its service history being obvious. GenTech provides dedicated inspections for homeowners, buyers, sellers and real estate professionals who need a record of the system’s observed condition. Tell us the purpose before the appointment so we can discuss the requested documentation.

The inspection uses a separate process from the overlapping Trip One and Trip Two maintenance checklists. A routine maintenance visit and a condition inspection are not interchangeable simply because both involve looking at the equipment.

What the record is intended to communicate

• The equipment and observed condition within the agreed inspection scope.
• Photographs and documented findings rather than an unsupported assurance.
• Concerns requiring maintenance, diagnostics or specialist follow-up.
• A digital report you can save or print and share as appropriate.

For a property purchase or sale

Arrange inspection early enough to review findings and discuss any recommended next steps. Share relevant transaction timing when requesting service; availability is subject to confirmation. A report of observed condition helps the conversation, but does not replace the rest of the property’s inspection process.

For insurance-related documentation
