Keep service specific to your equipment
Generac standby generators differ by model, age, controller and cooling system. The right service conversation starts with the unit you own, not a generic parts list. Tell us the model if known, the available service history and whether the generator is due for routine care or has an active problem.
A maintenance visit can include inspection, applicable consumables, operational checks and attention to enclosure and surrounding conditions within the agreed scope. A warning message, missed exercise or repeated starting problem may require diagnostics rather than routine service alone.
How GenTech can help
- Scheduled standby generator maintenance and follow-up care.
- Assessment of missed exercise cycles, start failures and reported operating concerns.
- Battery/charging, corrosion, enclosure and perimeter observations.
- A separate condition inspection when you need documented findings.
- Discussion of compatible remote monitoring and its limitations.
Independent Generac service
GenTech provides independent maintenance, inspections, diagnostics and repairs for existing Generac standby generators. GenTech is not an authorized Generac dealer. If your concern involves manufacturer warranty coverage, confirm the required service provider and authorization before arranging work.
Before you call
Have your community or ZIP code, contact number and a short description of what you noticed ready. A message already visible on the controller or monitoring app is useful; do not remove covers, electrically test components or bypass a shutdown to collect more information. Read our failure-to-start guidance for the details to share safely.
Questions homeowners ask
Do you sell or install new Generac generators?
No. GenTech’s focus is maintenance, inspections and repair of existing standby generators.
Are Mobile Link alerts a replacement for maintenance?
No. Monitoring can provide information on compatible equipment, but it does not perform physical service or guarantee a response. Ask about both the maintenance plan and monitoring arrangement.
Is every model serviced the same way?
No. Service scope and consumables depend on the equipment and its requirements. Provide model details so we can discuss suitability.
